Group Contribution Information
The following information is intended to assist a group’s Treasurer when disbursing funds that go beyond the group’s current expenses and an ample reserve. Each group is autonomous and can allocate its funds as guided by the group conscience.
Suggested District 5 Guideline for group contributions after expenses and maintaining a prudent reserve is 60% District – 30% Area – 10% WSO

How to Complete Group Donation
Select the link above for “Group Online Payment”. In the form, please enter the $ amount of your donation. You have the option of checking a box to help pay our credit/debit card processing fee.
- Please enter your first name, last initial, email address and mailing address. Your email address is required to send a receipt.
- In the Note section you must enter the Group Name/Day and your WSO Group ID # which can be found: https://sonapal-anon.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/11/Oct-2025-D5-Meetings-with-WSO-IDs.pdf
- If WSO Group ID # is not included it will be considered a donation from an individual member and not a group donation.
- Donations cover District 5 expenses including Alateen and Public Outreach activities. If your group wants to designate a portion of your group contribution to Alateen and/or Public Outreach, please include the percentage or $ amount that you would like allocated in the Note section.
To finalize payment:
- Click on the blue banner at the bottom of the payment page labeled “Go to Credit Card Form” to proceed to the payment page (please note that the payment page WILL accept Debit Cards even if it doesn’t say so.
- On the payment page, you will enter your credit or debit card information along with your zip code.
- To complete the contribution, please be sure to click the Pay banner at the bottom of the payment page.
Instructions for Group Contribution by Check
